libqextserialport1 software package provides interface to serial ports for Qt-based apps - development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libqextserialport1
libqextserialport1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libqextserialport1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libqextserialport1 *
You will get with libqextserialport1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
